A multi-faceted region
Binic-Etables-sur-Mer is not just a seaside resort with beaches surrounded by jagged cliffs.
Binic-Etables-sur-Mer is not just a seaside resort with beaches surrounded by jagged cliffs. It's also a patchwork of neighbourhoods with a variety of atmospheres, offering all the ingredients for an unusual stay in Brittany!
The port of Binic offers a breathtaking view of the sea and the surrounding area.
It's the heart of the town and, thanks to its exceptional location, you can enjoy the seascapes by strolling along the quays at any time of year.
Just a stone's throw from the beaches of La Banche and L'Avant Port, a host of restaurants, bars and shops welcome you all year round, facing the sea. Depending on the season, you can enjoy crêpes, galettes, seafood or ice cream.
A pleasant village with a village atmosphere, local shops and a small food market twice a week... Just a stone's throw from the Godelins beach and the Moulin beach!
As you stroll along the streets, you'll come across the Tagarin café and bookshop. A unique place to enjoy a hot chocolate by the fire in winter or sip a cocktail in the garden in summer.
The market in the town of Etables sur Mer
Thanks to the creation of the seaside resort at the beginning of the 20th century, Étables-sur-Mer and the Godelins district experienced a major boom.
The villas and the Bellevue residence bear witness to this era of the first bathers.
There are several fishermen's quarters with typical houses dotted around the town.
Our "Challenge Urbain" game and our "Les Venelles de Binic" heritage fact sheet, as well as our guided walk "Au temps des Terre-Neuvas" (In the time of the Terre-Neuvas ) take you on a tour of some of these districts.
