The customs trail

The GR 34 is 2,000 kilometres of coastline in Brittany, from the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel to Saint-Nazaire, and it's got quite a history too!
Nicknamed the "customs officers' trail", the GR 34 follows the route taken by 17th-century customs officers to keep watch over the entire Brittany coastline.

From the port of Binic, the customs trail will take you to the Plage du Moulin or to Pordic.

On the horizon, the panorama of the Bay of Saint-Brieuc reveals an invigorating natural landscape that changes with the tide.
On a clear day, you'll be able to see Cap Fréhel.

Exceptional panoramas

A walk along the customs path is often an opportunity to take in some exceptional panoramic views!

Whether you're a keen walker or a Sunday stroller, everyone can enjoy the coastline and contemplate the most beautiful panoramas of Binic-Étables-sur-Mer.

Sunrises

Ideally situated for enjoying magnificent sunrises, the customs path offers morning walkers some wonderful shots.

We often talk about sunsets, but sunrises are just as beautiful. What's more, they're a great way to start the day.

Whether you walk the whole route or just a small section, there's plenty to keep you busy!

Although not the most difficult GR, the GR34 will require some preparation if you are planning a long-distance hike.
