Rain is not inevitable, on the contrary : )
It almost never happens, but just in case, here are all our ideas for activities to enjoy in the rain!
It's easy to find fun things to do in the rain that you wouldn't dare do in fine weather.
Follow the guide and we'll tell you how to get through the rain and experience Brittany in a different way.
It rarely rains in Brittany, and if the weather turns fickle, it's the perfect opportunity to try out the Binic-Etables-sur-Mer Tourist Office's umbrella tour!
Headphones on, and you're off on an independent discovery of the history of deep-sea fishing, a key episode in local history. Anecdotes, beliefs and Breton legends trickle down your ears like drizzle on the transparent umbrella loaned by the Tourist Office.
At the end of the journey, you're back at the port, proud to have braved the elements and that famous Breton drizzle! It's well worth a treat in one of the many cafés on site. Snug and dry, you'll be able to imagine the town as it once was, in the days of the famous great fisheries. Invigorating!
Duration: 1h30

Go rainbow-hunting
Because after the rain comes the sun, and it's after a drizzle that the most beautiful light appears. Armed with your camera, go rainbow-hunting!
Warm up with a cup of hot chocolate, tea or herbal tea...
Oh, how good it is to curl up on a cosy sofa or by the fire and hear the rain beating against the windows. Hop, the downpour's stopped, we can go out again!
Reading
Head for the bookshop (link to tagarin and barge) or the library and pick up a history book, retracing the epic of the Great Newfoundland Fishery. Sailing into the cold waters, casting the nets, cutting the cod ... what an adventure!
Cooking
Grab some milk, eggs and flour and get to work making pancakes. Who will dare make the pancakes jump?
And there's nothing like salted butter caramel to go with them!
Get some fresh air!
Yes, even if it means getting wet, go for a swim, with or without a wetsuit: an unforgettable experience guaranteed!
Go for a run on the country lanes, to clear your head and recharge your batteries!
Good to know:
It rarely rains all day. The immediate proximity of the sea makes the weather very changeable.
Note that the tide often influences the weather and that a change in tide often heralds a change in the colour of the sky!
