OCÉANOPOLIS BREST
Changing the way we look at the Ocean

Océanopolis Brest, the National Centre for Scientific Culture dedicated to the Ocean, is a unique place in Europe for sharing knowledge to understand the planet’s different marine ecosystems and preserve them more effectively.

In 2026, Océanopolis, which is undergoing a complete metamorphosis (the Tropical and Austral pavilions are being transformed), will remain open at an exceptional rate and offer you a reinvented programme of aquariums, events and guided tours. Come and (re)discover the Brittany pavilion, the otter trail, the new interactive Oceanauts City for all the family, the Oceanolab research laboratory and 4 new themed gardens of botanical interest! Reopening in summer 2026.
